About the project:

ReplyKit is our own AI product — built to explore and prove a concept we believed in: that reply automation on Twitter, done with intention and craft, could genuinely move the needle for brands. Designed for marketing agencies and founders who want to make noise and draw real attention on Twitter, ReplyKit lets users build custom AI Persona profiles that reply across multiple posts and threads while staying completely in character.

Objectives:

Build a Twitter reply automation tool that feels intelligent and on-brand — not spammy or robotic — so the engagement it generates actually means something
Let users create distinct AI Persona profiles with unique voices, so replies across different accounts always feel consistent, intentional, and human
Explore the full surface area of the Twitter API: what it allows, what it restricts, and what creative possibilities live in the space between

Our approach:

We built this one for ourselves first — to prove a concept and learn everything we could about the Twitter API in the process. That meant going deep on rate limits, posting restrictions, reply threading behavior, and the subtle rules of what Twitter will and won't let you automate
The Persona system was the core design challenge: creating AI profiles that could reply authentically at scale without losing the thread of their character across dozens of conversations at once
We also worked through the ethical side carefully — building automation that adds genuine value to conversations rather than polluting them. That tension shaped a lot of the product decisions in ways we're glad it did
