Bumper Buddy
We deliver innovative digital solutions with precision and creativity. Our expert team transforms your vision into reality through cutting-edge development and design.
About the project:
BumperBuddy is a Singaporean mobile app born out of a frustration every driver knows too well — getting into an accident and suddenly having to deal with police paperwork, insurance forms, and workshop hunting all at once, usually while still shaken up on the side of the road. BumperBuddy changes that. File your report at the scene, call a tow truck, get guided to the nearest partnered workshop for repairs and quotes, and send everything straight to your insurance company — all from your phone.
Objectives:
- Replace the stressful, paper-heavy accident reporting process with something drivers can handle entirely at the scene, on their phone
- Connect users to a network of partnered workshops across Singapore for towing, repairs, and transparent quotes
- Automatically compile and send compressed accident reports to insurance companies so claims move faster with less hassle
Our approach:
- This was our first Singaporean web2 project, and the learning curve was real. The Singapore insurance and accident reporting process has specific legal flows and requirements that we had to understand deeply before writing a single line of code
- Getting workshops on board meant understanding their existing workflows and building something that fit into how they already operate — not the other way around. A lot of early conversations, a lot of listening
- The report compression and direct insurance submission feature was the most technically delicate piece — making sure every detail captured at the scene arrived at the insurer accurately and in the right format
Results:
- A mobile app that turns one of the worst moments of a driver's day into something manageable — maybe even a little reassuring
- A live network of partnered workshops integrated into a seamless towing and repair flow across Singapore
- Insurance claims that move faster because the evidence is already there, already formatted, already sent
